I forget the name of that pretty little scooped-face gal, but she is so sweet.

Did June get it right?

June, actually I was working in the kitchen, with one eye on them as always (I love it when they are out in this pasture, which is right behind the house...I watch them all day), and happened to see them all perk up and get interested. They heard the tractor way over on the other farm and knew dinner was on its way. A few minutes later they were all pouring down off the hill to the flat area where they are fed.

Cathy, that is Moments, the only Jersey cows I have ever loved. The men make me milk her when Liz isn't home, but I don't mind. And actually they were waiting to be fed and heard the tractor coming down the other hill. I just loved the way they were back lit by the odd November light.

Nita, thanks, and you are right. They did see me out there with the camera. They watch me as much as I watch them. lol...but they also heard the tractor with their food.

I love to watch the cows when something gets their attention. You captured thier attentiveness very well.

Linda, they are like a book for the reading when you watch them every day. They have pointed me to so many things I would otherwise not have seen.
