Great shots, especially the old fashioned push-button wall switch! Boy that brought back memories. My grandmother had those in her house. :)

Light switches?????? I thought that summoned the help;))

These pictures are so enjoyable. I particularly like the Toledo Scales. As someone who lives next door to this once great city which is now diminished like so many of the rust belt cities - it makes me a little wistful.

achieve, thank you!

Lisa, thanks, I waited until the last minute because I just couldn't think of any circles.

dibear, thanks, that is our kitchen light. I had a hard time getting it because there just isn't enough light there.

FW, thanks!

Ebie, thank you!!

Far Side, thanks, I like them except in the front hall where the stairs are. Seems as if the switch is always on the wrong end. lol

Laughing orca, thank you. That wv is hilarious!

OE, thanks so much

LInda, oh, my, wouldn't that be nice? There is a neat little gold chain going down into the cellar too. Alas, that doesn't summon help either, but opens the damper on an old wood furnace, which is actually not even there any more. lol

Cathy, thank you. We got them from a factory that was driven out of business by free trade agreements. Used to be in a nearby city that supplied us with all the work t-shirts and sweatshirts we could use for really low prices. I can't tell you how much we miss them. They have been gone over a dozen years now and I still have shirts from there. You don't find quality like that in today's imports.

LInda, thanks, we have old fashioned knob and tube wiring and quite a few of those switches.

Shirley, oh, my, I only wish! lol. No, there is a great, big pickle crock full of our son's hunting stuff on the scale.
