Footsie

How 'bout the horns on this highlander?

Spinning wheels, twisting up the wind into threads of energy

A heifer we liked at the fair

This cow is seven years old...isn't she beautiful!

Been two months since I broke my stupid foot. It is still giving me heck. However, last night I iced it and amazingly got a good night's sleep. Gratitude! Little brother gave me a new air cast too and that has been a big help.

When are you ever off that foot, busy lady?

FC, I admit it...like any normal farmer or farmer's wife, I took one milking off, put on the Boss's old air cast and worked on crutches. But I did take a week off for vacation, honest I did. lol

A foot injury is a hard one to get healed up because we never keep off of it properly! Nice cow........what IS old for a dairy cow anyway??

I'm so sorry that foot is still aching.
Hope that cast helps.

Linda, exactly true. thought it would get better at camp, but it didn't.
Depends on the show. Some shows have five years old and up as aged cow, some have higher starting ages. The oldest cow we ever had got to be nearly twenty-one and got her picture on the front page of the paper back before I started writing the Farm Side.

Cathy, thanks, it does seem to be
