Sunday Stills....Farm Animals

Click to compare me to a dinosaur

The girls, coming in to be milked

Thought you might find this refreshing, as hot as it has been lately.

This one would have been easy for me, except that I spent the past week in the woods overlooking a lake wallowing in my love for the wild and the light and the song. And swimming and fishing. And takings hundreds of photos of sunrise and geese and herons. Not seeing a single farm animal (and not minding, not one little bit)

However, here is a pic of one of Miss Laura's chickies and a couple from the archives.

For more Sunday Stills......

HA! Take one stinkin' week off and the meme catches you!

Nice rebound though. The snow is much appreciated. Not sure if the chicken is evil or just looks that way.

I've always found it interesting that cows seem to know when to come to the barn, and how they all stream in in a straight row!! Loved seeing the snow, I actually got a chill that felt good. :)

Ahh to have some time for yourself....lucky lucky. Your holiday sounds refreshing....the snow not so much. We are not as hot as you guys and the snow time is approaching all too fast for me.....still it is a very pretty picture.

Thank you Chloe!

Joated, no lie, it is like we have been gone a month. Chicken is a little sweetie, just got that bug-eyed thing going on. lol

Dibear, they are so much creatures of habit. How they hate changes in routine like the twice-annual time change. Thanks

Shirley, thanks, it was so wonderful I can't begin to describe it!

JB, am indeed and thanks

Janice, it was great to get away. I don't like winter either, but it has been pretty hot, so I went with the snow. I will be whining about it when it comes though. lol

jeffro, thanks, it was terrific!

Linda, she is a baby chickie hatched a few weeks ago. We have several

VIH, I love you Beeze. lol

Ed, thanks! I am not a fan of winter, but it has been terrible hot lately, hasn't it?

I clicked but nothing happened, but I could only imagine what dinosaur that chicken looked like. The cows just know, don't they! I'm looking forward to the cooler days of fall too, and not this hunidity we've been having!
