Happy Saturday

Not much going on...the boss smashed his finger between two oak logs yesterday so he is in a world of hurt. In typical farmer style he soldiered on all day, after sticking it in an ice cold creek back in the woods for a while. It takes more than that to slow him down. He was kinda unhappy with various cows who thought it would be a nice idea to thump on it when he was milking them last night though.

Have a good Saturday. If nothing breaks, or gets loose or gets sick or decides to have a calf I am going to make chicken today for those who will watch the SB tomorrow evening...I will not be among that number......

Oh what beauty you've captured!

Lovely pictures.

So sorry about bosses fingers.

Dang.

I'll be watching the SB because I'll get a foot rub by doing so ;)

Happy weekend to you all. Sorry about the bosses finger. We have been getting out next winters wood. I have been slapped far too many times by brush and pine trees :)
Hope all is well with your family.

No SB for me either.

Hope damaged digit is better today, that smarts.

Well, first, is it broken?
If so, get it splintered properly.
Second, is there tendon damage (can he move it both flex and extend?
If not, get it fixed.

A permanently stiff "frozen" finger could be a real pain in the butt-ock for someone who works hard.

Sorry for all the panic. Just be careful and take care of yourself.
Your pictures show what we all know.... spring is coming!

Cathy, thank you so much. He seems much better today.
Foot rub sounds fantastic but....football is pretty bad...it would have to be a really good foot rub. lol

Deb, thanks! He is doing much better. Great to hear from you!

Caroline, he is better thank you. He is one tough cookie. lol

Keith, thanks! I am pretty sure it is not broken or tendon damaged, just one of those miserable squashes like when you shut a finger in a door. He says it only hurts now when he hits it. Of course the cows know and bang him all they can but...
