Hummer! Hummer! A hummingbird just showed up at my feeder, and I'm just thrilled! It's impossibly tiny, and its scarlet throat shimmered in the sunlight. Have you seen any yet?

I always love your photos.

Hi, Do you know what those yellow bodied flies are?

We have them on our patties too and I would like to know what they are..

Anon, I had to look them up. lol they are yellow dung flies. I was surprised to find that they are insect predators and the patties are just their nesting grounds and hunting so to speak.
