Meat Made us Human


Or at least the habit of eating it along with cooking our food helped us grow larger and more complex brains.

I know my hubby is never quite fully human unless he gets a good steak a couple times a week.

Of course as he's leaning into it . . . there may be something a little sub-human about that look on his face ;-D

Cathy, we have a fully finished steer, a whole, great big steer, just waiting for someone to arrange hauling to the processor. And an empty freezer with just a few loaves of bread and some chicken. There is something seriously wrong with this picture.
