Hold, Enough

Or, what a difference a day makes. Yesterday we were noodling around in the fields having a great time. Today, not so much.

Just Mother Nature's way of reminding you it's not yet the Solstice.

Also, we'll need a couple of weeks of warm days and below freezing nights for good maple sap production. Those cold nights are likely to produce some small amount of *spit* snow.

Good stuff. Some difference. How's the hay holding out?

Meanwhile, here in Anchorage it was 42 degrees at 5am, although the temp has dropped into the upper 30s now. Too warm for early March, as we watch all "our" snow go to the south.

Sorry it's hitting you, though.

Don't worry. The predicted rain will wash it all away, and then the sun will come out. But where was all this snow when we wanted it?

It is pretty!! ;) We had another dump yesterday but it blew into drifts....not so pretty.

It's very pretty the way you captured it, but an anti-snow dance might be in order.

Joated, it sure is sugar weather!

Ten Mile, bad news on the hay front. We are buying it and it is just killing us. Don't know if we can hold on until spring.

Rev. Paul, it is leaving fast!

WW, gorgeous this morning, as promised. Such lovely sunshine.

Linda, it is gorgeous and I really had fun photographing it.

Jan, I think it just might be. lol

Cathy, it is! I went out early before the sun was quite up because it was so lovely and I figured the wind would be quick to knock it off everything...which it did.
