Liz has one up at the place where they are planning to move. Very pretty. I would love one.

Looks like a maple tree. Same leaf. But that's just a guess.

I'm thinking it could be Sycamore, with those gray-green leaves. Was the bark smooth and mottled green? Does it have round bristly fruits?
If that tree were around here, and had a white bark I would say it was a silver-leaf Maple. The leaves are green with a white furry back. I love them.

Sycamore was the first thing that popped into my mind. Not sure why I discounted that. The bark would really be the give away if it is a sycamore.
