Ox Training Demonstration






There were three or four yokes of little milking shorthorns. They and their handlers were so cute and fun to watch.

I was going to say that those were the smallest oxen I've ever seen. LOL

But they are certainly cute.

Curiously . . just learned that horses replaced oxen in the fields once a chest harness versus a neck yoke was invented.
I'll bet that demo was interesting.

Cathy, huh, I didn't know that. They are much faster but not as strong per individual.
