Picking a Derby Winner

You can find this round barn on Round Barn Road.
It has been beautifully painted since we last went that way

Our favorite orchard all decked out for spring

The kids mauled the weeds off the front steps.

The sky is falling...the theme song of guinea fowl everywhere

Fast feet

It's easy. Just find out which horse swims the fastest.

Those front steps are a poem all in themselves.

I've threatened to take our front steps with us when we move from this house after 40 plus years.

When I think of all the loved ones who came and went over those steps through the years.

I don't want to leave them behind.

What a cool barn...as far as I know we don't have round barns here. Love your green green world. Lush!

Cathy, I love the steps...the weeds tend to overtake them...but they are wonderful whenever someone uncovers them. I am sorry to read that you are having to leave your home. It is so lovely...

Linda, I am so happy that someone is keeping it maintained and painted. I believe there were cows when the boss was younger and I think there still are cows in another barn nearby. It is very, very green here indeed.
