Jan, we got a good chuckle out of him. I have tried, literally for years, to get a decent photo of any of the elk at this farm. They are very shy and tend to hide out of sight way down the hill. I was tickled as pink as that baling twine to get these shots. Can't blame the elk for hiding though. A prize bull was poisoned some years ago by well-meaning visitors feeding him yew clippings. After that the owner discourage people from bringing food and coaxing them up near the road.
