Cathy, we did! One of my Veery favorite bird songs! Actually I have only ever actually seen a Veery once or twice ever. We got great looks at this pair, thanks to Ralph's amazing acuity of vision. They were so close to us, but blended so well with the forest, I probably would have missed them.

Oh yes! Excellent! I too, love that ethereal song. Here in Loudonville - the adjacent state park is one of their dependable nesting areas.

Linda, don't know what he was thinking! That road is so busy it is hard to pull out of the farm store there! He sure jumped out of the road when he saw us coming!

Cathy, love them! The spot where we took those photos is thronged with them, singing all around. Trying for video with good audio so folks can share my delight, but so far the wind is messing it up.
