It's lovely to see all that green vegetation, and the crops sprouting. The leaves are trying to come out, here, but have only achieved about one-quarter size after 10 days. No sun, cloudy, highs in the upper 40s to around 50, and did I mention no sun? The grass would like to green up, too, but ... nothing yet. We've had snow on the mountainside above the shoulder where we live, twice this month including last week.

Rev. Paul . . . We're going down to 52' tonight. We visited with the head of the local equity last night . . He said farmers have had a hard time getting into the fields with all the rain. Wish global warming would hurry up! ;P
And Marianne , , , There aren't many things more . . . what is it . . . . reassuring? . . . than the to see the seed sprouted and coming up.

Rev. Paul, sorry that spring has been so reluctant in your area. Here it literally arrived overnight! We still slip back into the too-darned-cold mode, but most days are pretty warm. Got to get gardening!

Cathy, lol, yeah, we are still keeping hot water circulating through the furnace plenum, although we rarely turn on the fan. Nights are still cold! As to the sprouts...I have tried for years and years for a photo such as the one of the corn field, which is near one of our favorite birding areas...the new camera made it easy...point, click. I was so tickled.
