Loved the video, the sweet, tantalizing song of the wood thrush is a great favorite of mine. I got a huge kick out of your red-tailed hawk eating video. That was so funny when the man walked by and the hawk barely paid any attention. Must have been a tasty bunny....or whatever it was.threecolliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05811004278088768813noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15171402.post-83801958600446787722012-08-31T16:34:27.350-04:002012-08-31T16:34:27.350-04:00We were separated at birth :) It can be problemat...We were separated at birth :) It can be problematic for others when they have to stand-by while I'm going for a bug that they can't see and about which they could care less.

My only problem is that my kid-sis who recently visited got sharper pixes than I did while capturing the same zinnia-eating goldfinch.

Now my cherished camera is looking a little tarnished . Drats. Still it's my constant sidekick.

This is not an assignment, but here's a video I finally got of the wood thrush at dusk.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hO486Fw8JucCathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00548755592157386484noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15171402.post-48197942412206736712012-08-31T13:13:28.491-04:002012-08-31T13:13:28.491-04:00No surprises. Every time I come here to read and see wha...YES!!! Every time I come here to read and see what your day has been like, I feel so grateful that you are YOU, with your eye and your heart and your amazing way with words. And of coure, your wonderful camera. I SO relate to what you say about how your camera has changed your days. Me too. I have a little Canon PowerShot S95 that fits in my pocket, and even while it sits quietly in there, it changes how I look at the world every minute of every day.
Jacqueline Donnellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13390548854179921303noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15171402.post-91927800919661873092012-08-31T07:52:33.990-04:002012-08-31T07:52:33.990-04:00You are such a wonderful gentle soul.
