Wow. That's a lot.
mmm...pork chops, roasts, hams...I'm betting they don't go to waste.
WOW! I wish that was our freezer! I would be cooking up a storm today!
Cubby, yeah, three pigs is definitely more than we really need. We are seriously going to sell some
Jan, no we have a crew to feed for sure
tim...the boss is making his famous sausage spaghetti tomorrow...it has been a long time and we can't wait.
Holy hannah! That's a lotta pork!
That makes me hungry! I like to see well stocked freezers.
Your robins were here today - and no wonder, 50 degrees. I'll send some your way.
Laurie, too much...way too much. We usually do two pigs, this year the boss wanted three
Nita, I like having stuff on hand too. I admire your food preservation! I think if we don't sell a couple hundred pounds we are going to get real sick of it though.
thanks for the robin-mail...we'll be watching for them!
without a doubt that is a pork load of meat! Probably would last me forever and make myself a little porky!
Holy cow! I mean pig.
Dang....wish that was our freezer. I am finally having to buy beef and some pork again. OUCH!
mon@rch, I am kind of afraid of that myself. lol
moos, yeah, we have got to rein the boss in on the three pig thing...two is enough
Stacy, it simply kills me to buy what the supermarket sells...price and quality!
So when is dinner? We'll be right over ;-)
We also do the freezer in the garage thing, but ours is not so well organized.
Wow. Wish you lived close to me! I would definitely buy some. I keep hearing how home-grown pork is so much tastier.
Cube...hmmm dinner is usually right after night milking..maybe 8PM. Our isn't well organized either as a rule...it's just that they just filled it so it hasn't had time to get messed up yet. lol
Rurality..wish you lived closer too. We are going to pay the kids 10% of whatever they make selling some of this...It is the best pork we have ever come out with in about ten years of raising it.
