I googled our name and just had to take a look at your web site. Your photos are really nice.

Nice Moon!
Great Moon shots. My little camera doesn't get the moon very well, but I like trying.

Scott, thank you so much for stopping by and for your kind words. At first I thought you were my cousin, who has the exact same name, but he is retired Army. Hope you stop by again
FC, thanks!
Linda, I couldn't get a thing until I used the flash. Then I got some that actually showed the amazing colors of last night's moonrise...and thanks!
Honey, you moon us as often as you like.
Lordy. This time of year the moon becomes a welcome light source after a rather diminished day.
And say. I may have found a website you might enjoy. Astro Bob's blog about celestial goings on. He wrote a piece about moon shadows that was plain lovely.

Looked like that here also, but then it was covered by clouds that dropped 5 to 8 inches of snow. I guess it's winter.
Cathy, I usually don't like the full moon much as everyone seem irritable, but you are right, this month the light was welcome. I will check out the website and thanks
JB, I see you folks are having some early winter nasty. Still fairly warm here, which means lotsa mud everywhere. Stay warm
Thanks, Lisa!
Moon me every chance you get. Absolutely beautiful!
Deb, thank you. I was so glad I finally tried taking flash moon pics. It really works!
