Hummer! Hummer! A hummingbird just showed up at my feeder, and I'm just thrilled! It's impossibly tiny, and its scarlet throat shimmered in the sunlight. Have you seen any yet?

Hi, Do you know what those yellow bodied flies are?
We have them on our patties too and I would like to know what they are..
Anon, I had to look them up. lol they are yellow dung flies. I was surprised to find that they are insect predators and the patties are just their nesting grounds and hunting so to speak.
Ahhh spring! Lush green lovely world!
