Encore
Since the rain just won't quit and it's still too wet to even get on the fields to mow more to get rained on and too wet to get the gravel back up the hill and onto the driveway we went birding.
It was plumb rewarding. Got a Great Egret right up the road a couple of miles. We saw dozens up at Montezuma Sunday, but they are scarce on the ground down here.
Jan, yeah, if it has to rain every day, we might as well get some good out of it. Getting really scary though. We don't have enough hay to feed our horses and cows yet, let alone to sell to pay the taxes. And it is raining today too. I have seen wet years, but this is the wettest I can ever remember.

How nice of the rain to give you an excuse to go birding
