I am so discouraged at the need to destroy that seems to be everywhere. It's terribly sad.
Linda, same here. The poor park has taken a terrible beating. Today there were huge piles of fireworks boxes stacked at the boat ramp.
So sad! And so infuriating. I am normally a peaceable person, but when I encounter this kind of wanton destruction, I feel the urge to wantonly destroy the perpetrators. What kind of injury to the soul could urge people to behave this way?
Jacqueline, it upsets me too. We go early in the morning as a rule and it is a very different place than later in the day. I don't know why anyone would tip a picnic table into the river bed, but it must have been a job. Those things are heavy!
