Hi cathy, we bought him as a miniature horse but he is one inch too tall to qualify, so yes, he is a pony....a handful of a pony, but we love him

Hi Joni, I told Liz she should enter that calf photo in the Holstein Association photo contest.
I bought Jack not too long after my old black horse passed away at 31. I missed seeing a black horse in the pasture and a mini seemed about the right speed. (He actually is black when he hasn't been out in the sun, but this summer he seems more bay or dark brown.) Eventually I gave him to Becky who has more time to play with him than I do.
