Rurality has been posting really neat photos of animals with heart markings. Mandy's isn't quite perfect but we love her so much that it seems that way....

aw... that's so sweet. I've never seen anything like it.
Couldn't you help it along with a magic marker?
Fred Snowing like mad here !!! Nice heart!!
Put the big tractors in the new barn for the storm!!! That felt pretty good!!
Love ya

I love my Mandy cow...She is so perfect!
Nice one! That puppy had the one that really looked the most like a perfect heart, I think.
Is this the first time you've ever had a cow with a heart pattern like that? One of my commenters said it wasn't that uncommon, but I hadn't ever seen one before "Valentine" (the steer that lives nearby).
iccatbatbt, thanks for visiting! We are quite fond of old Mandy
Jan, we could! lol
Matt, how great that you can put stuff under cover now. What a storm. I keep expecting winter not to show up and it keeps disappointing me!
Love you!
Paints, we know you do, we certainly do...and we love you!
Rurality, we love to look at the markings on the cows and try to decide what they look like. We have, or had, one that had a Micky Mouse on her side. Hearts are pretty common, although few are as dramatic as the one in your photo. There used to be a sort of a contest in Hoard's Dairyman magazine, wherein people sent in pictures of calves and cows with sevens on their faces. you would be amazed at how many of those there are!
