The architectural detail on your house is gorgeous, and valuable! We had a historic building consultant for Small Pond who made up her own term for the decorative gable-end vent screens (DGEVs). Almost every house has unique designs.
Still waiting for spring I see.

June, well, hey there! I am waving back. There were two houses like this at one time, roughly across the river from each other. Sadly the other one burned down some time ago

Linda, OMG, the roofs are a nightmare! Peaks and valleys and way up there in the wind (the pic is the tower, which is 72 feet high) Yowsa!
That was an interesting take on the challenge.
