Sunday Stills...High and Low

This time of year I can find all the high I want just standing on the back porch waiting for the dog. It is so green, the air is redolent with the scent of lilac bushes the size of a semi, and rings with the calls of dozens of arriving migrants....however, I don' think that is quite the high Ed is looking for, so here is a blossom high up in the winesap apple tree and a lowly dandelion lurking in the lawn. I threw in some of those lilacs too so maybe you could enjoy the whole experience.

So pretty! Your recipe sounds good from yesterday! The new bull looks nice, hope you get some nice calves and short horn bulls once in a while so I can buy them ;)

Ww, Thanks, I can never resist them. A pest in the garden, so but so pretty and the critters sure do love to eat them

RG, thanks!

Linda, aren't they a delight! The scents of flowers roll out over the summer like a carpet of delight, maple trees first, then the lilacs...soon grapes, locusts, roses....ahhhhh....

Lisa, thanks! Wouldn't you know, Rose, my show shorty, came into season the day after we got him...and him not out of quarantine yet.

Cathy, thanks. I love this time of year! Although I am all-mightily sick of rain. Where are the peach sunrises and apricot sunsets that make the bookends for the sunny days? Which we aren't having either. Argghhh

I'm not sure what was going on, but when I tried to visit you on Sunday I kept getting told that your blog was private and I was not invited...=( I'm glad that I found my way in because these photos are gorgeous!
