Cats in the milk house

Two by two

Calves in the manger
Shame on you! Or on all of us really, but these are fairly minor indiscretions and easily fixed

What's indiscreet about that stuff?
Are cats illegal in the milk house? Are calves illegal in the manger?
I guess I could see how those two things could be, but it doesn't bother me, as a milk drinker, one whit.
It has ever been thus, has it not?

Cats and milk, they just belong together, don't they? Think of all those images of milkmaids directing a squirting udder at an open-mouthed cat. Ah, but that was before health-department regulations, wasn't it?

Like the previous commenters, I'm not seeing the problem here.

June, these are egregious crimes, from which the consumer is protected, by the Pasteurized Milk Ordinance or PMO. Some milk inspectors will look the other way....but not all....

WW, lol, used to do that, but the cats can get pretty importunate and make it hard to milk the cows.

Rev. Paul, many regulations on milk production don't necessarily make much sense. lol

Linda, she is a wild 'un, kicks like the very devil and probably didn't like the flash. lol
