Blend, Baby, Blend

God certainly did a good job on that technique! Seriously, we have the same problem seeing a moose in the dark, especially in the winter when their legs turn almost white. Can't see 'em as they cross the snow-covered streets until you're right on top of those horse-sized animals. Good luck stopping, then. :)

on the other hand . . .that winter moose camo that Rev. Paul mentioned . . . . . kinda defeats its purpose.

Even harder to see cropped than uncropped!
This morning a red squirrel, in his winter color, ran across the road in front of the car and POOF! disappeared in the brush. A measure of his coloring and of his speed.
