Were your girls that young when you started taking them with you to the barn when milking?
ellie, oh, yes, they started going to the barn when they were tiny. I didn't milk when I was wearing them, but I wore them in my Snuggli baby carrier or carried them from infancy. Sometimes I just went over to the barn to keep everyone company or do simple, safe things. Then they started helping with little things like sweeping up feed or feeding calves as soon as they were able.
