That is one scary looking spider!
Just a garden spider...who very inconvenientyly chose to spin her web right across my dirt pile where I fill my flower pots.
I remember these from my Grandparents farm in Indiana. Needless to say we have our share of spiders around here.
Spiders are so beneficial to humans by eating harmful insects and weaving incredible webs while they mind their own business and don't ever annoy us. Why are they so hated?
