Comments

If you are a Blogger user stymied by the failure of Blogger Beta to allow you to comment, you can do so by signing in as "other". A pain in the neck I know, but I do love to hear from you.
Thanks

    Beta testing is FUN!!!

(Just keep telling yourself that so you don't fixate on punching out the lights of a system's engineer somewhere...)

I havn't been on the computer for a while, but when I do I always read your blog first. You did a beautiful tribute to one of the victims of the 9/11 events. I too think of them often and the shattered lives that their loved ones have to rebuild. We saw the movie "World Trade Center" at the theater and were deeply moved as the rest of the audince seemed to be. Havn't yet rented the film "United 93" but know we will.
Love the pictures of the cows, expecially in the mist outside the barn. Very peaceful and comforting.

  3. Hi Matthew, Yes, I am loving the beta testing and am ever so glad that I get the chance to go on all sorts of yahoo groups to learn to fix (or should I say attempt to fix) the problems I have with it. I can't even comment on my own mother's blog, Tryon Books and More, (http://tryonbooksandmore.blogspot.com/) unless I log in as one of my kids. It IS fun. lol

Hello Karen, thanks for the kind words. It was hard to read and write about Carl's life, knowing he had been killed so senslessly. I had to stop reading other tributes on other blogs under the 2996 project after the first few. They are just too painful to take all at once. Thanks for visiting and for taking time to comment.

  6. carrie, thanks, I was just walking by with the camera and liked the colors together

Cubby, sorry you couldn't comment. The glitches are annoying to put it mildly

I haven't had any problem commenting, so I guess it's because I'm (selfishly, I guess) just a reader, not a blogger. I do admire you as a blogger! As Karen said, I always read your blog first, and I enjoy it greatly and vastly!

  8. Hi NW. And thanks again.
It is driving me nuts because if other Blogger blogs only accept comments from registered users I can't comment no matter how much I like their posts. Wish more people would set their options to allow comments from "other"

That's the one that always gets me too. Some of the blogs get set to only accept a person who is registered with Blogger, but then Blogger changes the rules, and won't let people that have switched to the Beta, leave a post for non-Beta's.

    Aargh
    LOL

  10. Time Warp! Time Warp! Does your post really say "October 13, 2006"? Or perhaps this is Beta Blogger busting the blogosphere again?

    ;)

    Love your blog!!!!!

  11. Hi Marti, thanks for stopping by. Glad I am not alone in being driven crazy.

Mrs. Mecomber, that is just what the post says, because I have been too lazy to learn to write a proper sticky post and I want this one to stay at the top. Otherwise I don't get any comments and don't have any fun. lol
And thanks I am enjoying yours very much as well. Keep up the good writing.
