A new product has just hit the shelves in the Middle East. Its release was timed in order to coincide with the Holy Month of Ramadan. When this Camelicious substance reaches our shores will it sweep Coke and Pepsi aside in its wake? Will Mountain Dew be replaced by Desert Dew Drops? Only time will tell, but date-flavored camel milk may be the Yoohoo of the future.
Camel's Milk?!?!?! Baaaaaaaaaaaarf. Actually, "barf" in Farsi means "snow." LOL.
ReplyDeleteI don't even like Pepsi, Coke, Mtn Dew, etc, ad nauseum... I'll stick to good ole Hinckley Reservoir water (no matter how much it costs, lol) or Folgers.
Hi mrs. m, it didn't sound too applealing to me either, but I got a kick out of the idea. I also don't like soda in any of its manifestations. Give me milk or Taster's Choice any day.
ReplyDeleteSounds horrid.
ReplyDeleteFC, I surely concur
ReplyDeleteI've had it and it is horrid. Well, it tastes very much like goats milk which was a staple when I was growing up (we had goats.) I've never liked the taste of *any* sort of milk, so I am biased.
ReplyDeleteDate flavored camel milk. Haha!
Sounds gross! But I'll try anything once .. yeah I'm one of those .. :)
ReplyDeleteoh come on y'all know ay wanna try it its right up there with being drawn and quartered.....
ReplyDeleteA couple of weeks back, the BBC was crowing about camel's milk... saying it was "healthier" and whatnot.
ReplyDeleteWell, never say never... and I guess the 'taste' will be the judge...
