I love the clouds in this photo, so airy and light. The picture reminds me of a (silly) joke a friend told me yesterday. The joke is pretty old, but it still makes me laugh.
Do you know why one side of the V is longer than the other?
There are more geese in it.
Ok, it's not as funny when you read it. Maybe it's not funny at all, I was in a "mood" yesterday.
Hi dmm, I laughed at it, having never heard it before. Thanks
Matthew, they are kind of a problem down here too, but I was out taking pictures anyhow (our neighbor's house burned and the smoke was terrible...poor souls lost 15 purebred labrador retrievers. Horrible!) and the geese flew over. They looked pretty so...
Hi dmm, yes it was a terrible thing. Thank God they were away with their children so the family is all right. We heard sirens and saw smoke, but didn't know where it was until later, as the house cannot be seen either from here or from the road. I just took pictures of the smoke from up behind the barn

Anyway, I hope all is well for you and yours.
Happy Thanksgiving.
Don't blame the geese on us! :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice picture... but as a Torontonian, I can tell you, Canadian Geese can be NASTY and VICIOUS creatures.

Cool picture!
ReplyDeleteThanks, cubby!
ReplyDeleteHow awful for your neighbors, to lose their home and their precious pets too. My heart goes out to them.
