Happy Easter

Why I can't seem to find the energy to write about anything...

The normal temperature here for this time of year is fifty......today it is a balmy 28.

  3. A Happy Easter to you and yours. It was 25°F with a heavy overcast at 7AM when I walked the dog. The dooryard puddle was skimmed over with ice and the snow cover has melted down to eight inches or so. Hard to get enthusiastic about much of anything under these conditions, I do agree.

  4. FC I see on the weather map that the cold extends way down to the gulf coast. Pretty miserable. I hope your plants did come through all right

Matthew, thanks, and I hope it does do soon. We have our son home for a week and the guys would like to get some work done out in the fields.

Wil, You have it worse than we do up there in Maine....I hate coming down to snow when it is so late in the year.

  5. It's the weather...

27 degrees here, lightly snowing and kind of grey. I am really looking forward to spring.

    Hope your weather improves soon.

    Happy Easter.

I know exactly how you feel, I am in the same shape. Cold, snowy weather and no energy. I think I'm having the real energy crisis here in the US, how about you?

  7. Hi Laurie...it is the weather. It just does you in, but you have much more to worry about than we do. I hope Dale comes along all right!

Hello Sam, I have been reading how bad it is out there with all the snow and your babies coming. I imagine it must be very discouraging dealing with all the wet and snow. We just need to get on the land and you can;t even build fence yet, because there is so much frost in the ground/

  8. That's a very lovely picture. I think you're in good company as far as having the blahs. Hang in there.
Spring has to return - (doesn't it?)

  9. Hi cathy and thanks....you are right I think. Most of my blogging friends have a rather gloomy outlook right now, especially the ones who work outdoors. It is not really that cold and it is not really that snowy (although I heard on the news that you folks got a lot). However the calendar says we are supposed to be getting nice weather and we had a little taste last week....I think it makes us all eager for more!
