Hunting safely
These are our living room windows. We love the view. We don't love the shotgun pellet holes. The glass is very thick and we have been told it would be absurdly expensive to replace so the reminder of someone's vandalism and foolhardiness remains with us. This was done before the folks bought this half of the farm back in '62.
Not to many people can say they have a view like that, especially with the pellets. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
ReplyDeleteRegular or Regulear - you get the meaning. Guess I need to wake up before I post comments.
ReplyDeleteHoly bullet hole in the window batman!
ReplyDeleteFantastic view. What's a few pellet holes?
ReplyDeleteWOw - scary
ReplyDeleteThat sucks somebody destroyed your windows/view.
ReplyDeleteRG, any way you spell it, I get the idea. Thanks for the good wishes and the same to you and yours
ReplyDeleteWR, exactly!
Jan, thanks, to be honest with you I don't even see them any more except when I wash the windows.
Cubby, wild, wild west in the east
Markd60, it is too bad, but I don't really think much about it any more. Thanks for stopping by!
Wow! That's some view, bullet holes and all. I really like that space with all the plants and all. It looks cozy.
ReplyDeletemy goodness...
ReplyDeleteStacy, thank you. That is my "jungle", where I sit and take in green in the winter...I need a daily fix of green, regardless of season...palm trees, Norfolk island pines, geraniums....that chair on the right is mine.
ReplyDeleteMike, thanks for visiting!! Great to "see" you here...and aren't those something? They were done when no one was living here, but still...
That is a beautiful view! I'd never watch TV if I had that scene outside my window.
ReplyDeleteJan's right. What's a few pellet holes? (Still - it does boggle the mind that some jerk would do that)
That is an awesome view despite the bullet holes ... :)
ReplyDeleteCathy, thanks, I love to sit in my chair and watch the birds go by. It is not unusual to have a hawk or eagle cruise right past the window when you are sitting there.
ReplyDeleteSue, thanks
Wow, that's both cool and unsettling at the same time!
