    and thanks for the kind words. Liz took both photos and pictures. I love having the hawks eating the pigeons especially. Since we took down the silos they sit on the house!

    Marti, I love books too. My folks own a bookstore and for Christmas this year they turned all the grandkids loose with large gift certificates. Even the non readers were thrilled and had a ball. Our book lovers were simply overjoyed.

  6. I love your photos. I might follow suit on my blog and show pics of my new foot massager/warmer. My kid-cousins got it for me because my feet are always cold and I often beg for foot massages.

  8. When we were building our pond we had a few sandpipers come visit. They are neat birds. I wrote a short post over at The Other Side of NY about my favorite warbler and how to attract warblers in general which you may find interesting.
