Wow! If I knew mornings could look like that, I'd have moved yearrrrrrrrs ago. Nice. Suppose I should start my day but got a little transfixed with the great views. Supposed to be in the 70's through Easter here. I'd go out barefoot in that. LOL. Ditto what Deb, Jan and Stacy said. Happy playing and have a fun weekend.
deb, it is fun....thanks. It isn't bad here today either and despite having a massive undertaking in front of us for the day we are not having a bad day at all..
Jan, thanks, I run around barefoot a lot anyhow and the moon was setting so fast. Happy Easter to you and yours as well, thanks
Stacy, it was worth getting up an hour before the rest of the crew to have time to take pictures
Steve, thanks! It was another one of those lovely mornings with the moon setting on one side of the house, while the sun rose on the other. Irresistible...
cathy, how did you know I was howling? lol (Well, my feet were pretty cold)...and thanks! The cows do have to be milked at least twice every single day except for during their dry period, six weeks of complete rest (at least) before each calf is born. However, on most farms, unless they make a staggering amount of milk, the truck comes every other day. We all have big refrigerated bulk tanks to store the milk in between. the milk is also automatically stirred every fifteen minutes all the time to keep the cream from rising out of it.
You sure are having fun with that new camera......good for you! Beautiful photos. I love photos of transition from night/day.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day - the wind has died down some here and the sun is shining!
Deb
Lovely pictures, worth your pain.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter.
Aren't holidays wonderful? I'm glad you're getting to spend some of yours playing with your new camera!
ReplyDeleteWow!

Half way crazy is just fine. Now when you start howling while your standing there in your bare feet . . . . ;0)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the moon shining beside the silo. Oh and that early Spring sunrise - so lovely.
Now. Could you explain why the milk truck doesn't come? Don't the cows have to be milked every day? Do they have to cross their legs?
(Go ahead. Tee hee at this city girl's pathetic understanding of country things ;0)
