Deadline Wednesday
I never joined Wordless Wednesday, although you sure can find a lot of fine photography from the bloggers who have on that day. However, I gotta come up with 1000 words for the Farm Side today, so here it is....Deadline Wednesday.
Very goodly done with the morning pics! A friend it trying to work with me on getting some good evening shots of the Golden Gate bridge at sunset but the only thing I manage to get is cold.
I keep thinking that I should sell this old house, for I cannot keep up with the maintenance. I just discovered that %^*#$ starlings have ripped out rotten wood in the eaves and have made themselves a nest. I wasn't sorry to see a dead starling hanging out of the nest!
But then I see the rainbow sprinkled over the stairway from the late afternoon sun shining through the stained glass windows, and I realize that I'm not quite ready to part with this home just yet...
Nita, thank you so much...funny you should say that. When I go upstairs there I often do think about what that banister has seen...
Linda, thanks, and really I wasn't. What a nightmare though. About five minutes after I typed my first sentence an area farmer stopped by with the details on an animal welfare group that is being set up in the area. It was important and he stayed for hours. I ended up with only 55 minutes to write my column. Got it done though. lol
Stacy, thanks!
FC, did so sir, by noon, which is deadline. Thanks
Steve, I am sure you will get just what you want...those farmers market photos were stunning. Thanks
NW, I know just what you mean. These houses are like living beings, but they need so much input. And thanks...
You're no slouch when it comes to photography. Beautiful woodwork shot - just think of the stories that banister has to tell...
ReplyDeleteGreat shots! Are you doing it to procrastinate on the deadline?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics!
ReplyDeleteLovely.
ReplyDeleteNow get'r done.
:)
Yeah, what FC said. Hahahaha.
ReplyDeleteLove it.
