Have you ever heard of


Chick Sale? I grew up familiar with some very strange things, including this particular character. (I actually own a copy of The Specialist.) I also lived in a primitive cabin once, where I could truly identify with this fellow.

(A new outhouse can truly be a fine thing....and having a charity build one for you...priceless.)

    I've used an outhouse or three in the past. My most enduring memories include the odor and flies. Lots of flies in the summer.

    It may be more private than inside, where everyone hears, but I'll take modern plumbing. Heh.

    teri, my folks gave me mine...I think it is right in the drawer of this desk. lol

    Jeffro, there is one at camp. I deal with it, but coming home to modern plumbing is one thing that is good about the end of vacation
