Our blackcaps are as green as gourds - your growing season is so different. So much for my skewed vision of upstate New York. As always, thanks TC for sharing your days with us!
No blackcaps here so I'm just going to imagine they were powerful tasty. Our blackberries are just almost thinking of being ready. Another couple weeks. Happy After Birthday.
Nita, it is odd isn't it? I wonder if your elevation is higher? I know you folks had snow when we were having summery weather just a few weeks ago...we are right down on a river, so it is warmish comparatively.
Steve, they are delicious, if rather seedy...and thanks
FC, some call them black raspberries too.
akagaga, hmmm, how to put this...what he left behind my car was once a lot of berries, only now it was mostly seeds and what looked like it might be rabbit hair....he is more than welcome to the rabbits

ReplyDeleteHappy After Birthday.
Now I understand black caps.
ReplyDeleteMay I assume that the calling card was something that used to be alive? You don't have chickens, do you?
ReplyDeleteYou take great pictures and your blogs are great!
