The lake vacation sounds wonderful. But I would be looking for a "no party zone." I'm sure there are places to rent from that cater to nature enthusiasts instead of drinkers. I couldn't enjoy the morning if I was awake all night.
Nita, I had never tried it before but it is really easy and fun
Susan, thanks, wish we could find a place that was close to home, closed to gigantic motor boats and jet skis and still quiet. I hate the crazy all night partying and when the girls are with us the guys nearby boat over and hoot and holler just off the end of our dock...at two in the morning. However, the truly quiet lakes require hiking in and camping on the ground...just too much for me
Mungo, it is neat isn't it? I had no idea it was so easy. The bird is a northern mockingbird
Dave, I am so sorry for your tragic loss. I knew you were facing great difficulties, but had no idea that it had become so serious. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as they have been. Take care...
How I enjoy your blog! I'm in awe that you can take daily happenings and make them into enjoyable stories. I, too, chuckled over the cow-lage and enjoyed the photos.
Cowlage? Geeze, that's pure genius. I'm trying to get unspun from puns by the tons because the ones that are fun are already done, hon. Completely entranced with this post. :-)
rurality, thanks, wish I could take credit for it, but one of the kids looking over my shoulder while I was making it shouted it out....can't remember which one. lol
NW, thanks, I love playing with stuff like the collage thingie.
Steve, thanks, I only wish that I thought of it, but it was a committee effort. and I have noticed that you are king of puns....lol
Always the smarty - great idea. This way we get to see more of your photography!
