Fonda Fair Day Minus One

Setting up the decorations and bedding up the stalls. Liz, the boss and I went over today to work on that and I took my photos over and put them in. I don't expect to win at all. The competition is extremely vigorous....but I needed a pass and I had to enter somethings. Cows will be trucked over tomorrow.

That's going to be the prettiest display at the entire fair. Can't wait to see a photo with all the cows standing there Wish I could attend :)

Good luck with your photo entries. They are all winners....I'm sure the judges will think so too.

Have fun!

I can't wait to see the stalls, with the cows. Mandy looked so gorgeous on her practice run.

Good Luck to all, this will be the only fair I go to this year.

I always love your pictures, I'm sure everyone else will too!

You have some fantastic and quite varied photos. You would win if I were the judge.

Those are nicely bedded stalls! If I was a cow, I would want to lay in them...

good luck on the photo contest!

By the way, you've been nominated for the "I ♥ your blog" award.

I love setting up for shows! I wish I was there helping Liz! Lovely job on the decorations. I hope to go, but field trips here this week, and then off to a llama show in MA for the weekend. Hoping early Friday - and I want to see what photos you entered. They're ALL winners in my book, I truly love your view of life through a lens.

Deb, thanks, you are so kind...I was really lucky with my photos. came in second in both classes that I entered. I was thrilled because I didn't expect to place at all.

Paints, yeah I know, believe me

Nita, I am not going to make it over today..until maybe tonight...too much to do at home, but maybe tomorrow I can get better pics

Steve, thanks I was really happy to come in second

Jan, thanks, I was happy to place at all. It is tough competition for a county fair

Aussie O, thanks on all counts. The cows love to go to the fair...they are very contented there

Teri, thanks!! Friday is show day so we will certainly be there.
