Sunday Stills
This week's challenge was sunrises and sunsets. Didn't have one single pretty sunrise, except after I was over at the barn and couldn't get a pic, so these are all sunsets.
I've just dropped in to survey the farm before my real catching up in a week or so and BY GOLLY! You've got some shots that make me want to linger a whole lot longer.
You're so sweet. Don't you worry one bit about askin' bout Duke! He was an Akbash. Somehow, when the litter was born, he came out black and white. Akbash are suppose to be pure white. So the breeder sold him to me for $25 to get him off the place before other buyers showed up! He was a great dog. My husband called the breeder this week and asked if he had any puppies. He said he had some ready to wean this week!! We're gonna go by next Sunday and see if we fall in love with another!
thanks for stoppin' by and checkin' me out! Come back anytime!
Ed, thanks, we didn't have much in the way of sunsets or sunrises all week, although usually we have really nice ones.
Deb, thanks, and thanks for the information!
FC, what is a tree without them?
gtyup, thank you
Shirley, that was my favorite too, thanks
Linda, thanks, I am not so hot at night photography, but I guess I'll learn
Flo, thanks, it was the only pretty night all week!
The Wife, thanks!
Cathy, thanks, can't wait until you are "back"!
Nita, it is, it is, thanks, at least we are not buried in that heavy snow and ice you folks have to deal with....
Teri, thanks! Wouldn't you know, after this challenge is all over we had a fantastic sunset last night. I didn't have time to take the camera out anyhow, but it would have been a beauty.
The wife, he was a fantastic looking dog to me, somewhere between a border collie and a newfie...so dignified and appealing. I was so sorry to read that you had lost him before I even got to "know" him....
Thanks, Joce, I wasn't really as happy with them as I would like to be, but they were the best I could do. You will do great at Sunday Stills; your pictures are exceptional!
Beautiful!

ReplyDeleteI like the first one the best but I like the last one because it has a bit of an ominous feel to it. Good job!

Brrrr, it looks cccold. Great pics!
ReplyDeleteI've been loving the sunsets lately too! Lots of pinkish reds. Soothing, considering the frigid temps. Thank you for sharing the photos.

Those are great. I think I will try to follow along with the Sunday Stills as well. You inspire me, as usual.
