Have in common?
The answer to this pressing question: Alan is the common denominator. He got the chaps thrown in the deal with his new saw and he made the hats. Becky taught herself to crochet from a little book while home on break this winter. He was watching her, decided to try it and made himself the light green hat. Then he made me the dark green one, which will henceforth be my Sunday-go-to-meeting hat. Great answers in the comments though! I especially like Steve's offerings (freste).

ReplyDeleteVery good work for someone just beginning. If he wants, he can avoid the join line showing by making sure he always starts the new color on the right (public) side of his work. As a knitter and crocheter, I am glad to see another male join our ranks and to be proud of his work. Keep it up Alan!

ReplyDeleteHi Tipper, thanks, he is quite a kid. The pulsators on the milking machine were not working this morning and he just took one apart and fixed it...never done it before, no one taught him how. he just did it. I think we will keep him. lol
