Anon, it was simply amazing! Such pleasant weather. We got half the fence done! The last pic is moss in "bloom"...it doesn't have true flowers, but does send up spore things. I wish it had come out more clear, but because of the bright sun I couldn't really see how the pic came out.
Barrier Island Girl, thank you, there was so much to see while we were out there working, I took 107 of them! Plus a video, lol
Tim, Snow! Bah humbug! I am so sorry to hear it. We lucked out with a really nice day, although I just came in from checking a cow that calved last night and it is raining here....
The berry vines and thistles are delightful little things I love to battle with every year. The more I cut them back, the stronger they come back the next year. So I know what Paints is feelin. The good news is that you probably have more of them than me, so I don't mind a bit.
Paints, I am so sorry you inherited Grandma L's baby skin...poor you! Daddy will have to get you some gloves.
Steve, It is a never ending job and the poor kid has skin like tissue paper. No matter how hard she works, no calluses! She had blisters on her blisters, while the rest of us were fine, even though everybody cut a lot of brush all day.
Teri, the boss made off with her gloves last year and we just haven't found a new pair for her. She has little tiny hands......they don't make heavy leather work gloves for little tiny hands...
it was a beautiful day...i hope all eventually went well...i really like the last picture...of what i don't know..but it's nice.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteThey are calling for snow here! Yuck! I thought it was spring already! GRRRRR!

My hands look like hamburger. They are so sliced from those darned berry bushes.
