Deb, thanks, the sky was so lovely last night, but I too am hoping for some more dry weather. The breakdowns are killing us. Our JD forage wagon is sitting on a broken axle right now....right in the road to the fields. The guys went from 12 loads a day to 6
Looks like you were pretty accurate with your forecast! Brief shower here at the Bolt Hole (southwest Adirondacks) at 3 AM, then more rain around 6:30 AM, 10:30 AM and a very quick thunderstorm at 3:30 PM.
LIsa, the jacks and wood saved the day. They could not have done it without them. Can't thank you enough. Alan brought them back yesterday and put them where they were when he came to pick them up. Thanks again
FC, thanks, it was really pretty
JC, thanks, it was so dramatic that even though it was days end and dinner time I had to run for the camera
Joated, it amazes me how many of the weather sayings I learned from my old boss are accurate...except when there is a drought....which would not be the case this year!
It's a gorgeous photo but I don't like what the indication is :(
ReplyDeleteI hope you can squeeze out another dry day before the rains come back!

ReplyDeleteDid the jacks help and the wood? I hope we get more dry rather than wet!! See you in a few days!!
ReplyDeleteLove a mack sky at sunset. Nice shot!
ReplyDeleteVery Very Pretty Sky ...

ReplyDelete"Not long wet...not long dry," indeed.
