  13. LIsa, thanks, he was such a beauty. Looked as if he had been polished!

    MSW, thank you very kindly

June, thanks, Liz pointed the snail out to me and amazingly it came out clearly. Usually I don't have much luck with water shots

Dani, thanks, a tiny baby milk snake. Haven't seen many of them around this summer, so I was glad Liz found him

anon, sorry...I don't like the bitey kind much, but this guy was really tiny.

WB, thanks, I have tried for years to capture the amazing colors of milk snakes...they are so beautiful

MariesImages, thanks...he was really really tiny. Those are Lizzie's fingertip in the pic. He was smaller than a pencil

Laughing Orca, thanks, I was happy to finally get a half way decent pic of a baby milk snake. I have tried before and failed dismally.

    Holly, thanks...sorry about the snake,

Pacey, thanks, I love macros. They are so much fun

Far Side, sorry about the snake. I just couldn't resist him. and thanks for the kind words!

  14. These are all fabulous shots! The stamens of the magenta flower are interesting, and the glow on the berries fantastic!

  15. That snake coming out of the egg is gross but spot on. Did you have to wait a long time for it to hatch?

  16. FW, thanks so much!

Ann, actually those are fingers he was in. Liz found him out on the path...but it certainly hadn't been long since he left the egg. He was tiny. Thanks
