Look at that closeup of the b/w feathers! Beautiful! I like chickens...except for the stink I love to go through the poultry barn at the fair.
When I was little my sister and I had the job of collecting the eggs in the mornings. I remember the nice "wholeness" of a fresh warm eggshell in my hand. Provided it didn't have poopy on it, that is...
Ack! I don't have a chicken on my blog! I need one! Do ya think the Gubment will get me one? That they will force EVERY blog to have a chicken and regulate the size, type, origin, and placement of said chicken? Will we see higher taxes (a rhetorical question, I know) to pay for and support chickens on blogs everywhere? Will the Gubment penalize bloggers who refuse chickens??
Dani, they do, and I like them so much better this time of year when they can look all pretty out in the yard...without wrecking the garden. lol
June, thanks! you gave me quite a laugh with that. You got it exactly right...the nice "wholeness" of a fresh warm eggshell in my hand....and the other part too. lol
anon, thanks, I think we all get some of those.
Kimberlee, thanks! She is a pretty thing this fall. That is her baby with her.
Callie, thanks so much. I couldn't resist them
akagaga, exactly right! Thanks!
WW, they bring the yard alive, thanks, glad you are home safely...best wishes
REbecca, you GOT it! Oh, I was hoping someone would! Well said!
