Deb, he is glad of spring break too. Loved the sunshine and miss it now...not so fond of the rain
Dani, they are and a happy weekend to you as well, thank you
June, that is a good way to look at it. lol...although she still manages to come up with lots and lots and lots of fur!
Jan, you are so right. It was so nice to see them both basking in the sunlight that day
Linda, well.....maybe....lol....she would love to guard the dog food and used to in fact, but nowadays she can barely find it...so she is guarding the kitty litter!
LInda B, I do enjoy him very much. He is a commuter student so he is home nights, but it will be great to have him home all the time
Lisa, she is an old sweetie...most of the time...when she isn't lunching at the litter box diner and trying to answer the telephone. lol
Cathy, we have a fun..for me, the kids hate it...afternoon sunshine thing. When the sun just starts to set over the heifer barn roof, a Merry Moos figuring with a music box inside that is light sensitive, begins to play in the china closet...it plays Christmas music. The kids go nuts and complain and whine (the first time it happened it took us a couple of hours to figure out what was happening) but I love it because my mom gave me the music box. Every sunny afternoon I get to think of her and know she loves me....sometimes I call her....
I'm sure he's a happy boy to be home!
ReplyDeleteThe sunshine has been awesome and the warmth....have a great week :)
Those are wonderful things to have.
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend!!!
Gael is not getting older, she's getting tidier. Less of that pesky shedding, dontchaknow!
ReplyDeleteThere is something about house pets finding sunbeams that warms us all.
ReplyDeleteNow you can take some time off as the boy's there to pick up the slack. Gael looks like she's guarding a bag of dog food.
ReplyDeleteUs elderly do have trouble with thinning hair!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your kid, it's more than wonderful when they come home.

She looks comfy, poor old lady, it is good she has you to take care of her!
ReplyDeleteAwwww . .
ReplyDeleteIt's good to find a patch of friendly sunlight. Just gotta slide along with it.
And yes - a house becomes more home when our kid reenters it.
