If you Google videos for "mowing hay" this is the top entry that you find. It has been viewed over 6400 times.
Alan was mowing hay in our thirty-acre lot last June. He took the big camera up and took a video of himself. So much green, green alfalfa, green trees, green tractor. I thought it was pretty cool.
Why the boy is famous!
ReplyDelete6402. I am assuming Jinglebob watched it also.
ReplyDeleteNeat!
He did a really good job, not jerky, no crazy swings of the camera.
It's mesmerizing. Great video! I could watch it for hours. Did he have a head camera??
ReplyDeleteJB, well at least among YouTube videos about mowing hay anyhow. lol
ReplyDeleteFC, he has been handier with the camera than I am since the day we got it.
Sara, sure doesn't look like that right now...and I can't wait.
Mrs. M, thanks on his behalf. He didn't have a head camera, but held my Canon s3is in his hand while driving.
very cool. i'll bet it smelled wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWe're headed out the door for our joint social security office visit.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to share this with hubby when we return.
I KNOW we'll need it.
Ahhhh . . . Thank you.
ReplyDeleteMy hubby's eyes got a little misty. He used to work on a farm as a kid. Mowed, raked and baled hay.
He did it all, he's reminding me as I'm typing. Discing, plowing, harvesting . . .
He didn't drive a combine or corn picker - but all the rest . .
(I think it's been good for him to recall this :0)
Cathy, my heart is with you...take care
ReplyDeleteAnd, it is so cool that your husband worked on a farm. Farm life gives such a different perspective on so many facets of life. I don't think anyone ever forgets what it is like no matter how many years and life changes they are away from it.
