My passion flowers just started blooming . . . what a BLUE!!! Saw a bumblebee tasting one the other day and all the colors together were just joyful. What is that last one?
Love that first one - so bright and cheery. I certainly know that the last one is a rhubarb flowering. I've cut dozens of those things off this spring. Very good shots.

Cloe, would you believe I can't remember the name of it? I bought it at Agway a couple of years ago and it is a big favorite of mine. It isn't your regular bachelor button, but bigger and darker with different foliage...and thanks

TEG, thanks...I cut all the others off and just left that one so I could take pics of it. Sometimes I let them go to see and plant babies, but the darned things always damp off when they get a couple of inches tall.

J9, yes, it is rhubarb flower. You are supposed to cut them off so the rhubarb keeps producing, but I left that one to photograph. I love driving past old farms, long abandoned, sometimes with no buildings left at all, but the lilacs are still there and the rhubarb throws its flowers up, year after year.
Linda, I waited years to get one...it is a perennial..and so expensive. Finally, a couple of years ago, I indulged. It is planted under an old fashioned horse plow and looks so cool growing there.
What I have, somebody gave me, and told me it was a passion flower plant and it looks just like your first picture. When I Google "passion flower," though....none of them look like yours and mine. If you remember the name and it ISN'T passion flower, please tell me and I'll give it back to them, huffing about false advertising. ;-P
