I Have a Spider Picture

But I don't want to post it. It is the biggest spider I have ever seen...it was over in the milkhouse and covered a good part of a round faucet handle. Liz made me take a picture for proof of its ridiculous girth and circumference. It is also the ugliest thing I have seen in my life and I like you folks...so I hate to make you look at something like that. An orb web garden spider it isn't.

Don't forget to vote in the photo contest if you have time....it ends tomorrow and I am crossing my fingers (which makes it very, very hard to type.)

Have a good one!

  2. I'm curious about that spider.
But it's nice that you're sensitive to the arachnophobes among us. :-)

  7. I pretty much have made peace with any fears I've had with spiders ...and snakes....thinkin' I have alittle understanding of why they're around and what they're after........but mindless, rotten little-itsy bitsy-wormy things creep me out! Ugh! So show us the spider!

  8. Dani, I finally put them up on my other blog, but they give ME the creeps...can't wait to delete them. lol

Joated, check them out on the View today

June, it is an ugly thing. You can click or not click on today's post depending on how grossed out you want to be. lol, now I am going to go delete the pics from Picasa so I don't have to see them any more.

Linda, thank you. It has been fun, but I am glad it is over so I can stop begging...or nagging...for votes.

FC, good man! I thank you!

Jan, I don't mind most of them, and don't disturb them unless necessary, but this one made me shudder.....it is just so huge!

Linda, I don't generally mind either of them...but then we are lucky enough to live on the wrong side of the river for rattlers. On the north side it is another story. Down here snakes are pretty much always benign

Rebecca, posted them on my other blog...you can click on the link in today's post if you really want to see. I don't know what kind it is, other than the ugly kind. lol. Alan and I saw a pretty little white and orange crab spider up in the field, but I didn't have a camera with me...I truly wish I had though

FAithful...link in today's post. I don't mind most creatures, but I spent a long time getting over an intense dislike of spiders. I woke up once when I was a little kid with a great bit black one about an inch from my eyes on my yellow bedroom wall. It took years to get past that...
